Working in the community is the traditional and best-known face of Rotary where activities cover help to those in need either directly or through local charitable organisations.
Other recent examples of our work in Newport include:
- Support for the Welsh Disabled Sports Team Championships.
- Donations to local charities
including, in recent years, St David's Foundation, St Anne's
Hospice,
Cancer Research Wales, Ty Hafan and
Leukaemia Research.
- Support for school-orientated
projects such as The Young Musician Of The Year
Competition.
